Outerwear Built For Fall Winter

Four jackets carry the outerwear in the first edition of Fall Winter '26, and all of them share the same narrative throughout the  collection.

Volume that wraps around the body, fabrics heavy enough to feel like shelter, and true Represent proportions.

A cropped puffer with a turtle-shell back. A parka with a down gilet clipped inside it. A canvas work jacket washed until it gives, and a 15oz denim trucker with no stretch at all.

The Outerwear Collection:

Four jackets, four jobs.

The Riot Puffer is the cold-weather statement: cropped, boxy and heavy with down. The Outlander Parka is the long one, hooded and mid thigh, and the only piece here that splits into two garments. For everyday wear the Work Jacket is the easy answer, sitting just below the belt over a tee or a knit. The Denim Trucker is the layer.

A silhouette can go a long way on paper. It still has to work for the person who's going to wear it every day. The Riot Puffer needed enough attitude to feel new without losing what a winter puffer is for.

A lot of that comes down to proportion. The body is deliberately shorter and boxy, with a substantial down fill that exaggerates the shape and gives the jacket its volume. Against that sit a deep funnel neck and internal cuffs, so everything closes in around you. Cocooned, almost.

Then there's the drawcord through the hem. Cinch it hard and the jacket sits on the waist, above your jeans, as cropped as it gets. Leave it loose and it relaxes down to the hip.

Black or Riot Camo?

Same jacket, two silhouettes.

There are two versions because there are two sides to the idea.

Black is the everyday one. The proportion does the work, so it's still a statement, but there's nothing intimidating about it.

Hoodie, denim, a track pant: it goes over all of them. Even when we're pushing fashion, we never want to forget how our customer actually gets dressed.

The black puffer lets you focus on the shape. The camo takes exactly the same shape and turns the volume all the way up.

Camo is where Riot gets louder. We didn't want to take an existing military camouflage and recolour it, so we worked with an artist we use in Tbilisi to create our own from scratch.

It's more distressed, broken down and imperfect, with rough REP handwriting running through it. At a distance you read it as camo. Closer in, you see it's bespoke to us. We're borrowing the language of military clothing, not copying the uniform.

The same print runs across the Riot Camo Cargo Pant, cut wide in a 300gsm cotton. George, on wearing the two together:

"Not for everyone's taste, it's quite loud, but we had to get that print onto a jacket and see how it looked together with that pant."
- George Heaton

The Return of the Parka:

It's been a long while since we made a parka. Toni Purdie and the mainline team came back with the Outlander, and George's summary is blunt.

"If you want something heavy duty for winter, this is what you're going to go for."
- George Heaton

The shell is a 590gsm organic cotton canvas, washed out to a foresty olive so it feels vintage and not too stiff, whatever the weight says.

Unzip it and there's a second garment inside: a down-filled gilet in the same tone, fixed under the arm and at the back of the neck.

The hardware is silver and Represent-branded: double-headed zips on both the coat and the gilet, branded cords, and Cobrax press studs.

The cuffs are cut longer, with Velcro tabs so they can be undone and pulled up. There's an adjustable waist, a heavy-duty hood and shaping through the arms. Inside, a large Initial embroidery is stitched through the down baffles of the gilet, where only the wearer sees it.

Wear the two together when it's bitter. Pull the gilet out and wear either one alone. The coat falls to mid thigh, with a slight fishtail at the back that gives it an old army look. Nothing exaggerated.

Canvas & Denim

A super heavyweight cotton canvas makes it's way into the fall winter collection,  thoroughly washed out, with a corduroy collar and a lot of hand distressing.

The length is the point: just below the belt line, so it's neither long nor cropped. Across the back, a classic workwear construction opens up a gap in the fabric when you pull your shoulders forward, which means it never goes tight when you reach.

The Denim Trucker follows the same thinking. We moved our denim production and came back with a heavier cloth: 15oz, 100% cotton, no stretch, in a classic blue wash with a little Americana in it.

The wash is pretty much the same as the new Heaton jean, so they pair up. The rest of that story is on the FW26 denim page.

The Work Jacket closes with a double-headed zip, so it can be worn undone or half zipped. The Denim Trucker carries this season's new denim badge, a matte black leather patch with a small embossed logo.
